Alif Semiconductor was founded in 2019 to develop “connected, secure, low-power, high-performance edge processing solutions.” The company has raised roughly $72 million in Series A and B funding. Alif has more than 50 employees. The company has offices in Silicon Valley, Irvine California, Bangalore and Singapore.

Alif appears to be developing low power cellular connected IoT processors that “leverage some of today’s most advanced processing cores, system fabrics and process technologies.” The company has licensed the ARM Cortex-M55 and the Ethos-U55 neural processing unit (NPU) cores.
