Silicon Packets was founded in 2000 “to provide a new class of products to enable equipment vendors to meet the challenges ahead by delivering powerful, ultra-high speed, state-of-the-art solutions for the optical MAN/WAN markets.” The company is developing ICs for broadband LAN and WAN connectivity applications. Silicon Packets has received funding from Selby Venture Partners and Lucent Venture Partners.
